A1.5

I'm a fan of that configuration and have a similar rifle but with a DCH.

I don't know about these barrels, but I have an old school Bushmaster 1/9 that is crazy accurate with with 55/62 gr.

I've gotten a few barrels from JSE Surplus.  I've built a few rifles with parts all from them and they've all seemed like fine barrels.  I'm not sure who's making them for them.  Keep in mind I"m not a bench rest shooter and have never tested them for accuracy they hold a good enough group for me to zero at 50/200 and make center mass shots out to 300, which is further than I could ever shoot in my area.

Edit- Link is sold out already

Would these work as A2 clones with a bayonet? Know some gas blocks can be further back preventing use of a bayonet.

Trying to build an A2 rifle similar to what I used in Army Basic training in the late '00s.

Thanks MRW.

Also, what's the best twist rate for a 20in A2 setup? 1x9 or 1x12?

Now all I need to do is find an A2 upper with the built in carry handle. Too easy to find any generic flat top upper.

Enjoy building ARs now.

I think I used clone in the wrong way. I'm not going for an exact part for part copy of an A2. Just something that is similar in appearance and feel.

Lightweight would be good.

If you want the best of everything in a 20 inch barrel, get yourself a pencil barrel with a 1/7 twist.
