I'm basically trying to re-create my first AR-15. I've got everything I need except for a 16" lightweight, carbine gas barrel with A2 height FSB. Would prefer chrome lined 1/7 twist.
Anyone know if barrels are available in this configuration?  Attached File |

The barrels are out there, do a little looking.
As to complete barrels/uppers not sure. For an A2 FSB, try Dez Tactical. The have a clamp-on FSB available with a 0.625 hole made for the skinny barrel. I have used the standard 0.750 FSBs from them with no problems at all. |

You can find Colt lightweight 1/7 barrels on both gunbroker and here in the EE.

Colt barrels can be found, but they will not be the cheapest option, but they are worth it in my opinion. There is one in the EE that has been listed for a month, so make him an offer. There are at least two on gunbroker right now with $250 buy it nows. Just search colt 6520.

I love my colt 6520 so much. What a great rifle! Good luck finding one. I found my complete rifle on gun broker for just over $760.
