Between the handguard and the eotech riser, certainly a unique pistol.

Without the riser on my guns, my hearing pro gets shoved up just enough to deafen me. These run hot and I had the hand guard in my parts bin so it ended up working out.

I'm not knocking you bud, I just never seen anything like this. Is that a torx driver stuck in the top portion? I'm interested in how that handguard it attached to the 180.

👍🏻 No worries. Yeah, that driver was a place holder until I found the right size bolt to replace it. The hand guard slides on snugly to where it really stays on without anything additional but it just so happened that the hole on top of the hand guard aligned perfectly with a slot in the top rail of the BRN180 so the bolt could slide across. I had to remove the heat shield, one of the molded in bolts and some of the plastic from the interior of the hand guard and cut a section off of the rear of it off to get it to work. No mods to the BRN180. I cut a section off of the top of the G36 HG at the front end to access the rail to install a front sight but need to take more material off. This HK part slides right over the factory hand guard. I think there are 3 sizes of G36 hand guard and this is the longest. The middle sized one might be a better fit on this application.

Walked into LGS on the hunt for something, walked out with this. I have pretty much zero back info on it. Ban Era Bushmaster with their Piston conversion. Had no idea it wasn't DI till I brought it home. This things brand new. Came with YHM tri rail too. I'm pretty stoked, its my first AR.

Never knew bushmaster had a factory piston option. Interesting. You definitely got something unique as well.

My take on an 18" piston SPR...originally built about 5 years ago with AA piston upper, just updated with SF3P and SF Warden, plus I rattle-canned the scope. I was pleasantly surprised when I ran across the LWRC M6 that had a very similar setup. This thing is a tack driver, love how clean the piston runs and the recoil reduction. After about 500 rounds, I barely had any residue on the inside or on the BCG...one of my favorite rifles to shoot!

Pair of pistons.  I need new pics.  The top one has some small changes since this photo.
Top: Adams Arms, .300BLK, red accents were intentional to set it apart and be obvious. (has different muzzle device and different grip now)
Bottom: Superlative Arms, .223 Wylde.

Better Picture, top/bottom flipped.

They sell these at Home Depot etc too - make sure you use this on painted gloss wood etc, not drywall. I actually hang the gun mostly from the broom hook, it deforms down a little and then support a little weight in the bin because I also have spare mags in it usually.

On some other applications I use 3m double sided tape like the kind Go Pro uses and some 3m rubberized tape in the bottom so it doesn't slide when the door closes etc. there is a clear bumper on the door where the charging handle might hit too.

Exhausted from the sheer amount of cash and time it took to find all the weaponry in the pic, must have been physically taxing while causing emotional highs and lows.
The above combined with that shiny lower obscuring his view possibly temporarily disoriented and blinded him. He must have accidentally mounted it backwards during the madness and not even realized.

Or he actually followed the instructions in Chinese, which is a feat in itself, and technically not his fault....

Either way that's a bad ass collection.

Ha ha. Thx. It’s not mounted. I was rushing to get a snap before running to my daughters’ cheerleading event and just sat it there. Are they garbage? I saw some good reviews and figured  I’d try one.
