You still miss my main point.  You cannot save $400.00 using the same exact components as is on a factory rifle.  That is all I am saying.  Have you ever taken a barrel blank and compleated in a barrel ready to go on an AR?  Have you ever taken a 80% lower and completed it?  Do you own a lathe, mill, grinders, buffers and other machine shop equipment?  Can you blue, parkerize or Moly-Teflon.  Have you fixed many thousands of rifles.  Have you sold over a thousand rifles?  I might know what I am talking about.  Are you really comparing one rifle you built to about 11 or 12 years of being a fulltime gunsmith?
