The only picture I have at the moment... its pretty small, sorry. Ill try and take a lager one later.

One of my "Sports". Ive got more $$$ in parts, than I do the cost of the rifle itself!  Still holding out for a used ML2... in the mean time, I recently swapped out the YHM flip rear, with a Midwest Industried fixed rear..  Love this rifle!

Sadly this is the only picture I have of my M&P.  I had just started customizing it a little, bought a 12" Larue rail, Aimpoint Comp M4s and Troy flip ups.  I then came on hard financial times and instead of selling it I gave it to a friend to hold who in turn loaned me $800, kind of an unofficial pawn.  Well a few months later when I got the agreed upon $900 to give to him to get it back, he was unusually evasive about it.  First his father had it, then he kept delaying saying he couldn't get a hold of him to get it back.  About a month later he came clean and told me he sold it.  I explained that the Aimpoint alone was worth nearly $800,  and that for me to replace everything it would cost me over $1,800.  Long story short, I never saw a dime of my money back.

http://www.freeimagehosting.net/newuploads/xleic.jpg

That sucks.  Did you break your former buddy in half like a tooth pick?

Nah, I kept asking him about it but after a while decided it wasn't worth ruining a friendship over.  I know that sounds crazy, especially when it was explicitly stated by me that he was NOT to sell it, but he really did come upon hard times and needed the money.  Money is money, and not worth ending a friendship over and certainly not worth resorting to violence over.  Now don't let this give anyone any ideas about trying to screw me over on the EE

That picture was taken years ago, before I really knew much about AR's, and I noticed a few funny things, one being that my Larue mount is on backwords
I do miss that rifle, can't believe someone ended up with that thing for $800

I'll play.  This is one of the Sport models.  I added 13" Troy/Vtac alpha rail w/ shaved fsb, CTR, and Burris Tac30.  I've been shooting the shit outta it for the 3 months since I got it.  About 2500 or so rounds and no malfunctions.  I usually shoot about 500 or so each trip to the farm.  I may need to clean it soon.

Just picked this Mint M&P15T up, like new w/only 200 rds down the tube.
Only plan to add a few tweaks, maybe a nice Eotech.
Came with all the Troy, Magpul, MI and Wilson goodness as well as a sling, case, 200 rounds, and a can of Break Free CLP.
Best grand I have ever spent.

S&W MP15T Circa 2007.  My first AR and the beginnings of BRD.

Poor staking on carrier key, poor bevel on magwell which prevented seating of Pmags and the magwell was even milled off center.  All in all I love this rifle.

Very happy with my S&W.  Reliability over about 1500 rounds excellent.  Carrier key and castle nut (when it was there) have excellent staking.  Since I live in a commie utopia that outlaws telescopic stocks, I removed the pinned factory stock and replaced it with an A2.  Excellent fit and finish.  I bought it new on gunbroker for $780.  Plus, it's accurate too.

Thought it was the CTR.  I just looked at the box and it is a MOE Carbine.  I stand corrected.  I will edit that.  Thanks.

no problem bro! i wasnt trying to be a stickler, just curious. I had a magpul moe stock on my rifle, sold it, went back to the stock buttstock....do not like it, going to a ctr or acs-l as soon as i can find one.

One and only left handed M&P 15 sport.  Swapped out the original upper receiver and BCG with a stag arms left handed version.  It has Knights Armament drop in rail with vertical grip, Houge pistol grip, UTG Bi-pod, and 4X scope.

My contribution to the thread.

Ever seen one before? S&W MP15 I (International)
Export model. 17" .223 1/9" barrel.

- Jard 2-stage 4 lbs trigger
- Magpul grip + hand guard
- M1944 carrying sling as a two-point sling (could it be more mil-spec?) ;)
- YHM flip-up rear sight
- Fenix LD25 water-proof tactical light (up to 130 meters beam)
- Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24
- Burris P.E.P.R QD. mount, or "Perp-mount" as I like to express it...

And day after tomorrow it will get YHM flip-up frontsight + gasport, and carbine lenght lightweight FF tube.

I like to shoot it alot with irons. 50% hitting rate to silhouette pigs from 300 meters with irons, prone position and magazine support. With S&B .223rem bulk ammo.  practically it's 2-3 moa rifle with this setup and combination. Though it has .223 remington chamber, I presume that it's in the looser tolerances of such chamber, or really close to 5.56mm chamber. No issues with XM193 ammo. So far it has been a trouble-free rifle.

Does this count at a Smith and Wesson? Actually the ONLY part on the gun that is a Smith and Wesson part is the stripped lower! Everything else is Daniel Defense and Magpul.
