A bunch of mags is on the list....

But,

I will be looking forward to threading all of the barrels everybody has so a flash hider can be attachd...

How much is that service worth?[smoke]

in Iraq or Afghanistan, I would opt for the M4A1 and my own eyes, or even a colt777, RAS II/comp L co-witness in low light. For long distance, I think that a Mk11 mod 0 would do the trick. is it my imagination, or am i seeing a lot of our guys keeping their detachable sights on the M16A4's / M4's?

to the rest of you guys, thanks for all of the posts. i'm surprised that so many of you want to load up on magazines, as opposed to getting a new AW. i guess that when you already own what may be the finest firearm in the world, you might not need anything else.

me: AR15 with 30 round mags lots of them, HK USP pistol with high capacity mags, alot of high capacity magazines for the Beretta that I am planning on getting.

Anything marked LEO or for military use only will probably not be sold to civilians.  Just like badges if its ment for LE only then it stays that way, also just like on those rifles marked Gov't property it cannot be possessed by civilians until it is no longer standard issue.  Thats just my guess and the guess of the Warsaw PD's Chief that I ride with on my internship program from my criminal justice class.

Since you brought up the subject, I have always wondered.  Would you be able to thread a Remington model 597 magnum rifle to accomodate a flash suppressor?  Just curious cause the muzzle climb on the thing is a real bother.

Buy some more ammo.
Change all my Glock 10 Round magazines to the Full 17.
Buy some more ammo.
Buy at least 10 C-Mag’s.
Buy some more ammo.
Suppress my M16.  (But I’m going to do this next year anyway.)
Buy some more ammo.
Maybe Form 1 my Glock so I can use a shoulder stock or a forward grip.
Buy some more ammo.
Every Semi Gets Their Own Spare Folding or Collapsing Stock.
Buy some more ammo.

What am I forgetting?  Oh, yeah; Right.

Buy some more ammo.

I suppose you could, but a flash suppressor doesn't help muzzle climb.  You need a compensator or muzzle brake.

Pre ban mags.  Hopefully from nice AR15 members who would sell there preban mags to purchase new manufactured mags.  Ban not being renewed has no effect on me.

LMAO. Abrams with a suppressor.... I WISH

Say, provided you get the tax stamp for a suppressor, would it be legal to mount one on a Remington 700 series rifle? Just curious..

Oh, WAIT, I forgot that with a black synthetic stock, it becomes evil....

Hopefully somebody would make a .22lr drum to fit my M4gery and Ciener would also start making more 30rnd mags. Those are what I'd buy 1st.

   one rifle stands out....SIG 550

Sorry, but there will be no 550s imported now or ever until the import ban of 1989/1990 is rescinded by act of Congress. Only Domestic manufacture of a SIG as a US built gun could take place after the AWB of 1994 sunsets.  Import ban is something altogether different.  You would also have to contend with the Clinton Executive Orders which banned the import of SIGs and AUGs in postban configuration.  Remember the USR? No more because of the Clinton EO.

Are the Beta-C mags covered under the AWB or the NFA or the '86 gun law??

If they are covered under the AWB I would be getting a beta mag or two......

I would assemble a new AR with "all the trimmings" for each day of the week......

Seriously though....

Money permitting, I'd buy several lowers and uppers and assemble some rifles. Additionally, lots and lots of magazines. We need to get as many "post sunset" rifles and mags into circulation. Should (God forbid) another AWB type piece of legislation come down the pipe, there will be even more "grandfathered" firearms and mags in circulation than before. This could help keep prices stable. Who knows.

Collapsable stock, flash hider, "hi-cap" mags for all my guns, maybe a Sig 226 and 15 round mags.
