I'd be interested in one at the new price. Is a money order through the mail the only accepted form of payment?
Thanks. |

this looks functionally a lot like the A-DAC, but without a pin to lose during maintenance. I'll be ordering one as funds become available. you should be really proud of this one.

Good to see the FCD on more rifles.
They are still available folks! |

I just finished a new rifle. Soon as I recover from that damage I am getting one.

Wow! What a smart little accessory!
I too will be ordering one, ASAP. Yessiree! Question: Will availability of one for .308 (DPMS in my case) be posted in this thread - or, will I just need to keep my eyes and ears open? * Congratulations on a well-thought-out and useful product. I do believe you'll sell a boat load of them! When even fractions of a second count, it may well prove to be a life-saver on the battlefield. FWIW, I thank you. |

Got mine in the mail today and have it installed and going out to shoot as we speak. Thanks so much, so far I love it.

Back from shooting. I have to say that this product is very well built and very much worth the money. The magazine catch itself is very aggressive and holds the magazines in quite well. That is the easy part though. The main feature of this part being the bolt hold actuator is amazing. I find it very natural to use and it definitely speeds up clearing and malfunction procedures. This part is very strong and works 100% as described. Everyone that was with me today loved it. This part is not flimsy, does not get in the way, and does not hurt normal functions in any way. I will submit some photos soon. I will also be purchasing more.

As of today two units have been shipped to a certain tactical trainer named Kyle... he is testing them in a class next week... he will probilbly be more suited to re-write the manual of arms than I... Any feedback yet from this certain trainer? |

Has anyone tested this with a Phase 5 lever?
The latest version, which loops around to the rear of the ping pong paddle, infringes on the area were the phase five and BAD lever come down to the trigger guard. The earlier version in the video which comes in from the front appears to be possibly compatible with the phase five lever. But I doubt they will sell the early version. |

Sweet looking rifle DM1975... Thanks, I started building it about the same time you first announced this idea on here. A lot of stuff got in the way of me getting it built but I finally did. Your part was the last piece of the puzzle and literally arrived just minutes before I was walking out the door to shoot it for the first time. Looks like these are gonna be great little stocking stuffer this Christmas for some of my AR buddies. |

Any chance for a local pickup, if convenient could save on shipping

Hey guys,
I just wanted to say that I have a T&E unit and this device is really nice. Not only for malfunctions, but running drills or competition when having to unload and show clear. The big difference between this and the BAD Lever is this doesn't hang on the bolt catch so there's no risk of the bolt not locking back which happens now and then with the BAD. Also, the important thing here is the only thing in your trigger guard is the trigger, so there's no risk of a ND which a few apparently have experienced and Jason Falla watched a student come very close numerous times during a class. I've given numerous devices a try and I'm no longer like to add gadgets to my rifles, but this is one of the few that I've seen really have a place. The way the industry is headed with companies like AXTS's A-DAC lower receiver, this is also a great idea for those that run the A-DAC and need to retrofit their other lowers. - Deleted by moderator. Here it is installed on my bran new rifle. Just to kinda give an idea of how much I put my rifles through, you can see the pistol grip is pretty dirty and the rifle is already dinged up. This is the first range trip with this rifle and my Firearm Control Device both. Thanks for making a great product here. I will be buying a few more for my other rifles soon. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c29/DM1975/Recce/274d8af4.jpg http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c29/DM1975/Recce/e060c2b3.jpg That looks great. Have you tried any malfunction drills with it yet? |

Have you tried any malfunction drills with it yet? Thanks. I have done a few dry runs of malfunction drills but none under shooting conditions yet. Next range trip I will do some induced malfunctions and see how it runs then. One thing I noticed is I tend to release the mag catch before I let the pressure off the charging handle so I have been trying to commit the actions to muscle memory before I get seriously into running drills with it. What I have noticed on the positive side is that it is cutting several seconds off of my malfunction drills. |
|
Thanks. We're required to run malfunction drills under time.
So, payday, I'll have to order one. We'll run it thrugh the next academy class and see how it does. |

Any word on alternate payment options yet? I can't ever seem to make it anywhere while they are open to get a money order.

Shit I'm in Cookeville, sounds like a day trip on the moto. I think we've talked at the JT tables at the Fairgrounds.

Excellent idea. Ordering one of these and showing the video to my partners on our firearms teams at the office.

I really like this idea. Definitely putting this on my current build, first build has the BAD. I think it is a decent price compared to most things out there and the function is well thought out. Kuddos on a great product. look forward to seeing some more live fire drills and reports on it.

Kuddos on a great product. look forward to seeing some more live fire drills and reports on it. Ask and yee shall receive. Live fire demonstration and drills... Note that I am not a professional tactics instructor, nor elite in any way. Also note that the exact drill shown is merely the fastest, least-wasted-movement drill I have come up with to resolve a true double feed, but will not remove a case left in the chamber due to a failure to extract. If you are not absolutely certain that there is nothing in the chamber, I would strongly suggest that, after you finger the action, that you move your weak hand back to the charging handle, cycle the action three times, then retract the charging handle once more while depressing the magazine release, locking the bolt back. Then continue with your standard emergency reload. I would also strongly suggest seeking the advice of a professional tactics instructor (with combat experience), and using your own intellect before using any method I demonstrate or suggest. My methods are my methods, not necessarily the best methods. Great video, thanks for posting it up. Definitely should have grabbed that snickers for the hi-res one haha. I know it hasnt been determined if it will fit any or some billet lowers just yet, but if any one happens to know or try it on a Noveske Gen 2 FFL and say go or no go, that would be good to know. Keep the new stuff comin!

I honestly believe this is one of the most functionally innovative ideas for the AR since they first decided to add railed handguards to them. It is not an "attachment" to the rifle, but a truly integral part that serves a very real and necessary function. I still conceder something like a BAD lever to be a bad design as I do not like any controls inside of the trigger housing besides a trigger. The firearms control device however becomes an integral part of the weapon and takes very limited time to learn to incorporate into your malfunction drills.
I am a true believer in this product and am 100% sold on it. The more I use it, the more I like it. |

Madison actually. I might have to agree with TNRonin on this one, could be a good ride one day.

I dunno if this has been discussed yet. Does it function with KNS pins? You know with the finger rest thing going on?

I really want to try one of these in the future. I think it's awesome an Arfcommer did this.
What are you using to induce doublefeeds like that? You should sell that too. |

Thanks!

Is Gearpay or Gunpal or whatever still around? |
