Didn't know where else to post this.
So I traded some .223 for some .308 rounds.
The .308's are factory Federal cartridges if that helps.
Problem is they don't weigh the same as my 150 grain .308 fully assembled cartridges.
These are fully loaded cartridges and I'd rather not pull the bullet to figure out the bullet weight.
They weigh on average 400 grains.
Any ideas on what the actual bullet weight is, or should I just pull one and confirm?

What do your 150 gr
cartridges weigh?
ETA:
Powder charge weight also plays into the factor.

If you are unsure as to what the weight of the bullet is, that tells me you have no idea as to what you were given.

Are you certain they are factory?  No boxes and or box ends?

I'd be wary of shooting unknown ammo.

I am certain these new .308 are factory Federals.
The 150 grain cartridges weigh 377.5 gr with an OAL of 2.720".
The heavier ones have an OAL of 2.810".

Not surprised the weights don't match.

Different headstamp brass cases can vary a lot in weight.

Powder charge can be a different weight depending on powder used.

Primer and bullet will be the same.

If these are factory loads, I can move this thread to the ammo forum, here, https://www.ar15.com/forums/AR-15/Ammunition/16/

If handloads, thread is good here.

Please advise.

400 grains seems heavy.  There is no way to get around breaking down at least one example to get an accurate weight of the components.

Sorry for the time waste.
