all pre 89 import  Chinese AK will be stamped AK-47, AKS-47. post 89 will be stamped  MAK-90 on some POLYTECHs they scrubbed where it was stamped AK-47 and stamped it MAK90

Actually the Polytech Legend guns are stamped "AK-47/S" -  just saying
