This piece, itself, is absolutely harmless. Send it to VA, USA.
DB EDIT to add: whoever pinned the one in your picture was more willing to drive the pin closer to the bore than the exterior of the barrel. Find a new smith. |

That’s not a pin. We don’t have the SBR thing here in EU and my SAR is all original: the flash hider is held in place by a small set screw that gets stacked in place

My flash hider is the same. The pin I think is done at the factory or even in the field or armory .
