Just got two cases from ammoman. It is not sealed at all. I new that from the description. But figured it was ploy coated. It doesn’t seem to be . It’s deep n my rotation of ammo. Just concerned about rust. It will be in a ammo can. WarDawg

That's the poly coated stuff. It's fine.
only the milspec stuff has the sealant around the bullet and primer.

In my experience, the poly case finish is not as durable and rusts faster when exposed to the elements. Contrary to the belief that the poly finish was a response to complaints of their lacquer finishes melting, the Russians developed it because it is cheaper.

For target practice it's fine but if you plan on long term storage, protect it from moisture.

Personally, my go-to supply of 7.62 and 5.45 is lacquered and sealed...

Already answered by another poster, it’s the poly stuff. I have some but prefer the copper washed steel cased stuff. Burns more clean and produces a little less flash.
