Bro use a finish nail, cut it long and peen it in place file gently to proper fit.
Yes that is the hand guard ferrule pin. |

There's a guy from one of the other SKS forums that regularly (or used to. anyways) sell a 5 pack on ebay for cheap.
correct pin, brand new, factory fresh, perfect fit. been a while but I think it was $10 with shipping for a 5 pack. |
