The top loading ones are a pain to load compared to the Chinese back loading style.  You can still get new Romanian made back loaders for just over $100.

Molot stamped Russian drums can command a premium but... I don't think even $500.

Edit: Just did some looking around on GB and foudn them. That asking price isn't even close to their going rate for either the Molot or the DDR drums.
