Has fewer ribs stamped at the bottom. Tantal has 5 short ribs.

Looks like a Norinco 84s 5.56 mag based on the two bottom ribs and smooth back.

I now am not certain whether I ever used it in one of my 74s or not, found it in with an assortment of bulgarian and polish 74 mags..  I also found a wood case of 8mm mauser I don't remember its origins. Closet treasure hunting is fun.

It,s a chicom norinco .223 mag won,t fit in much else.

The ramp to the locking lug has been altered, maybe made to fit 74?

i did the same thing about a month ago , found a bunch of Czech silver tip and yugo brass cased 7.62x54r and about 750 rounds of Austrian 7.62x51

then hiding in the back of one of my safes was a SSZZA4 k98 i thought i had sold off
