Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What do I have?

I have two AK magazines I got when I bought a Poly Tech the day the so-called "Assault Weapons Ban" was passed.  These are different than my other Chinese magazines in that they have silver followers.


What do I have? Are they collectors items or anything special?  I don't keep up with the "collectible" AK stuff as all my stuff goes to the range to get shot and banged up.

"silver followers" are actual chrome plated followers those mags were made by POLYTECH. some people who go GOO-GOO-GAA-GAA for them  will pay a lot for those, they go for like 90+ bucks.  

but in reality they are no worse or better then any other milsurplus steel AK mag, they just have the allure of being a POLY mag from china
