I picked up a case of ammo from a buddy to feed my new M44 and have no idea what it is. It's packed in paper 20rd packs with no writing.

Thanks. For some reason the pictures were gigantic like this when I uploaded and I couldn’t reduce to a normal size..lol. I know it to be 7.62x54, but was curious of the manufacturer and corrosive etc.

Russian 7.62x54r made by factory "60" (Russian State Factory at Frunze, Kirgisia, Russia) in 1986. Steel core type "LPS" ball ammunition. These used to have a silver tip, but the color code was dropped in the 1980s. Yes, corrosive primed.
