Interested in gaining a little bit more information about this rifle, I understand the importation of these rifles has been cut off:

Built by Chris Butler, of AK-USA in Florida
Base gun Saiga 7.62x39
Shortened barrel to 14 inches with permanently installed muzzle brake
Midwest Industries Extended AK rail
ACE Galil type fixed stock

Other stuff/extras not important

Apologies these are the only pictures I have access to

Given the current base price for AK pattern rifles, the custom work done, and the limited nature of the supply, I would guess the price range would start at $1250.

Maybe you can help learn me something.

Is the NDS-2 model used by Century just a generic term?

As in NoDak Spud-2? Furniture and other features have nothing to do with the caliber?

NDS 2 isn't a model number for the Century rifle, but in fact the receiver used for the build. Your rifle was built on a NDS-2 receiver (http://www.nodakspud.com/page2.htm), which is a Nodak Spud AK74 receiver. Excellent receiver and one of the best. Your model is an older Century AK74 that was offered around 2 years ago for under $400. I can tell that since it has the crappy black furniture on it and the receiver is a Nodak Spud. Century switched from using the NDS receiver and instead produced their own receiver to save money on the newer rifles.

Honestly, I would say your rifle is worth around $400 since it doesn't have surplus furniture and it doesn't come with a bayonet or 2 Bulgarian mags like the one offered by Wideners. Also, a lot of the older Century AK74  rifles were built with the incorrect barrel, .223 barrel vs a 5.45 one, which resulted in rounds key-holing on the target. Not all of them were affected, but a decent amount were.

Interdasting...

It did come with a bayo and 3 mags, however. Still doesnt effect the price much as I've come to understand. Thanks a lot for the info. I didnt know anything about it when I bought it (I think I paid $369 for it during a sale) and still dont know much about the AK family in general. So I appreciate the walk through.

Draco-C - metal finish is worn and some has some marks on the front trunion and where the underfolder was attached

Yugo Zastava PAP M92

Lancaster Arms NDS-3 - not sure where to start based on the original price and with all the legal stuff that went down with the company.  It's been flawless for me.

Just wondering what my Arsenal (Bulgarian Made) SLR-95 is worth.

It has been converted using an Ironwoods Stock US made grip and G2 trigger set.

It has been fired a bit and does show normal Bulgaria AK wear.

It's very accurate and operates great...never ever had an issue.

Market has been all over the place lately, with some bizarrely high prices and some amazing low ones, but i'm guessing that's still a 1000 dollar rifle even used and in a buyers market. Very nice!

No idea on the price, but it is a completely original SAR-1 (which should help you get a gauge on the market)

Just the rifle by itself which is a SAR1 @$600-650

Offer something less than $600 and you stole it, if the seller bites at your offer

The SAR1 is a good buy as it has the dimpled receiver and are usually better workmanship from Romania as it was an early import. If your getting the mags and ammo in the deal add about $8-10 per 30 round mag and .23-25 per round on the ammo to give you an idea of what its all worth in a package deal.

Hope this helps.Let us know if you get it

Please help appraise the following.

Hungarian SA 85M Kassnar AK-47

Rifle is un-fired. Metal is in excellent condition. Minor marks from sling hook and some scuffs on but plate from standing it up. tool kit in butstock appears original and unused.  Wood has a tiny chip on forward, upper handguard. All of the wood had tier one tactical camo duct tape on it from the previous owner/operator. Even though it was a safe queen, the wood got a sun tan in areas that weren't covered.  No box.  FH... it came with 2.  The break and a regular slant.  I don't know which one was original.

Thanks!

Just a rough guess i would say @$650-$700  for each one of those.

Could be off  some depending on where you list it and who wants it and how bad they want it.

If the wood was in perfect shape unfired in mint condition- $1400-1600

With the wood defects you mentioned on auction sites more like $1300-1400 possibly more

The Kassnar marked import prebans go for big bucks, not many around and very rare in unfired condition.

Nice rifle you have, dont do anything to it will only hurt the value.

Enter this item # into gunbroker - 453387187 there is one like yours with 21 hours left on it and its up to $1450

The rifle by itself used $1100-1200
With the optics, rail, etc - add another $600-650 to the rifles price.

You would do better selling the optic, rail etc separate than trying to sell as a package

Arsenal/Saiga SGL-31 (5.45mm). Unfired since purchase, with Polish sling, 3 mags (2 Polish, 1 Bulgarian), and the standard 10 round Izhevsk mag. Has original test target and manual, and original packing box and sleeve. Also marked "LEGION IZHEVSK RUSSIA" (standard for these, I would imagine).

I'm guessing in the $1000-1100 range?

I would say you are about right on the money on that.Being unfired and in the original box makes it desirable.

I wouldn't sell it for less than $1000 if it was mine.

Very nice. The Sile imports always bring good money. That one is in exceptional condition.Does the bayonet serial # match the rifles serial #?

I would guess on gunbroker no less than $1200 more like $1300-1400 possibly more since its in such good condition.Really depends on the market at the time of listing it and bidders who want it.

If it was mine i would ask $1200-1400 reserve price with an auction buy it now price of $1500-1600.

Just my guess.Nice rifle btw

Just my guess.Nice rifle btw

wow. cool that's great thank you...knowing my father, im sure the bayonet matches..thanks for the compliments

Any idea about my Chinese sile?

Pics?

Underfolder or fixed stock?

Sile import Chinese version. Damn near new condition. Dad's had it since late 70's and I don't think my it's been fired in over 20 years..always kept in a case or safe

Very nice. The Sile imports always bring good money. That one is in exceptional condition.Does the bayonet serial # match the rifles serial #?

" />. Picked this up at a gun show today. It says Norinco 84s-3a. I have found a lot of them on the internet with wood furniture, but have not seen many with the black polymer. Does that increase the value? It looks to be fired very minimally because the gas piston is super clean. Came with two 30 rounders and three 5 rounders. I was wondering how much it was worth. I purchased it for $850. Thanks for the help!

Hate to hijack but is that stock/grip unit available for sale anywhere? Would be an improvement over the thumb-holes without having to install that gap filler part you often have to use for conversions.

Is that stock 922r compliant because the stock/grip are one piece, or does it still require US parts since the grip is not connected at the bottom of the grip like a thumb-hole is?

Really nice rifle! The 30 round mags alone have been going for 80-100 bucks, when you can find them.

My guess is between $1000-1100 possibly more if you get the right buyer interested.

If its got the FEG marked receiver made in Hungary and the wood grips @$750 on the lower end and $1000 on the upper end on auction sites.

The box helps a lot as does the low round count

It's has the FEG receiver (converted single stack after import) and the plastic grips.

Grips might drop the price on the upper end by $50 or so, the lower end wouldn't change.

Keep in mind this would be gunbroker type prices, private sales wont be as high imo unless you find the right buyer in your location.

Local is selling a Arsenal SGL-20 and 2 .50 cal cans full of loose ammo (guestimated at 1500 rounds) for $950. Gun is suppose to have 500-700 rounds thru it. Shows only slight wear from safety. I'm thinking of adding it to my collection but would have to get rid of either a Romanian SAR1 or Yugo Opap to fund the purchase. Is the SGL-20 that much better than either of the 2 rifles I currently own? Give me your opinions !

Thanks
