Just got a 75 round mag from a member here and I cannot get it to seat correctly.  The rear of the mag just does not want to fit up into the magwell of the rifle.  I've seen videos of these drums working with 10/63's before so I'm not sure if its an issue with the drum or the rifle.  Any help would be appreciated.

In the past, it was sloppy machining used to open up the magwells of the rifles to accept double-stack magazines. See if this is your problem, too:

My rifle definitely has those little shoulders, but I'm hesitant to alter the rifle when my regular 30 rounders fit fine.  I've started some light filing on the drum to see if that helps.

Some filing on the drum and taking down those shoulders a bit seems to have solved my problem, thanks.

My WASR also has those 'shoulders', but not enough that it caused fitment problems with my Romy drum. But the drum does take a little more effort to lock in vs my surplus romy mags.
