I recently picked up a Russian Vepr 12  to play with, and I hate the stock and fore-grip, and want to change them.

So how much does something like this share furniture capability with other AKs and AK type shotguns?

What can I use?  Magpul?

What kind of stock does it currently have installed? Your options are very limited due to the barrel diameter and the type of handguard retainer used. The VEPR-12 uses RPK pattern handguards, so anything designed for that should work. Options off the top of my head are the Krebs UFM and the Zenitco B-20, which are both aluminum handguards. You also have the option of surplus wood handguards, and the option to cut off the current handguard retainer and use an RPK to AK bolt-on retainer. The stock will depend on the currently installed rear trunnion.
