Has anyone ever used their spike bayonette as a “monopod’ when shooting prone?  Just pushed the spike into the ground to steady the shot?

Bipods and monopods have their uses, but it is possible to train oneself to shoot just as well prone, with a suitable shooting sling, as with a bipod.

If I can do it, anyone can.
