I noticed the ammo below for 7.62X39. I guess it is designed to tumble very early when hitting it's target. Am I correct to think after it tumbles 180 degrees, the rear of the bullet with become the front and it'll go straight through without further yawing/tumbling? The bullet is "copper spun". I don't know whether that means it is a copper-only bullet.

tests of it on YouTube show that it's more of a yaw than a tumble. I read one review and watched one video so you're going to have to do your own research.

The bullet is solid copper

Spun is likely a reference to either the machining method; possibly on something like a lathe, or the spin imparted by rifling. In any event, it's essentially meaningless marketing drivel.

7.62x39mm FMJ already "tumbles" (yaws, rotates 90-180 degrees, exits base first) especially flat based, M-67 types.

Gimmick ammo that trades penetration for earlier yaw.

M67 yaws earlier than the original 7.62X39.

This tumble upon impact probably yaws earlier than M67. Even with the yaw, this caliber has plenty of penetration.

As an aside, there is Yugo M67 ammo out there, though it is corrosive.
