While that particular rifle wouldn’t be my choice, everyone needs at least one AK.

I maybe confusing rifles...
I thought this model came with Rpk style trunnion? Is that a factory rifle? |
Keep it. Find other stuff to flip for more AR stuff. You will likely regret selling it.

I have AR's and AK rifles. I love my AK over my AR's. The AK just shoots smoother and I have more fun with them. Keep the AK bro - AR rifles are a dime a dozen but that one AK that shoots good and you handle well isnt.

Yep, totally meant to post here.
Thanks for the replies, gang. I'll keep it. Hell I might even shoot it this weekend. @2keylows Yep, it's a totally factory rifle. Sold the TWS dog leg, though. It's back to irons. |

@2keylows 10-4, sir! I'll do it. Thanks again.
Here's a GD-worthy twist-- the gun fund will go back up after my vasectomy REVERSAL. once you get that satchel cut into, it's a high you'll chase forever. ETA spell |

Maybe some wood furniture would make you like it more. That plastic looks so boring. The wood looks so sweet. |

One does simply not sell a M70AB2. It's a excellent AK. You will regret it.

Find another way to fund your AR addiction.
Work extra hours... sell some other stuff. Keep the AK. |

Wood furniture here
Have to transfer the metal but these should work. Just meet pistol grip. @Amos_Moses |

If I were you, I would sell it to anyone dumb enough to pay what ever stupid price they go for today...….then go buy or build several AR's.
Do what you will but keep in mind that ARs are dirt cheap and AKs are only getting more expensive.
If you love guns, keep it. If you love ARs, you'll eventually get AR fatigue, so keep it.

Who is No Substitute and why should I kill everyone but him?
keep it.
ARs are cheap right now, be patient, buy what you can when you can. |
Keep it, BUT get rid of that shitty Century grip and handguard. Put some real Yugo surplus furniture on it.
DO IT NOW. |
Apex still has some Balkan hand guards.
I have the same ak. I won't ever sell it. I'd buy more if they were priced like ARs. |
I have one AK and I never shoot it either. I also thought about getting rid of it but changed my mind. Unless something happens and I'm in desperate need of money I don't have, I'm just keeping it for the sake of having an AK.
Yugo AK’s are great. Real Yugo wood and the correct grip will give it the soul that you’re currently missing.
If you don’t opt for original woood, Ironwood makes really nice new stuff. |
I'll go against the flow. I am not a collector.
"I never shoot the thing" Then why keep it? Get rid of it and get something you will go out and shoot. |
I debated on selling my Yugo ak for years. It was a reliable gun and functioned great, but I could never really get into it and shooting it was not fun, especially with the folding stock. I eventually wound up selling it and getting another ar-15 and have never looked back. I have quite a few mags, ammo. and parts for the ar-15, so to me it just made sense to sell the ak. They are neat guns but ammo costs have risen although it is still cheaper than 5.56. If you like it, keep it but if you have no use for it, I would sell it. Life is too short, so get something that makes you happy.

While I rarely (if ever) shoot my Polish underfolder, due to the fact the UF stocks are crazy uncomfortable for me, I still love the shit outta that gun. It's just got a sexiness you don't find in anything else.
If you *DO* sell that rifle, use the money for a different AK. Some of us are required to remain in areas we can't buy new ones. |

I've owned four AK's over the years. I've never regretted selling them and each guy I sold them to was very happy with the gun. I think the AK is a good weapon and I love the story and it's mystique about them. However, it's not a gun that keeps my attention for very long. I'd get one, shoot it for a bit the it would go further and further to the rear of the safe. There it would lie until it got sold.
Unless your AK is some rare Maadi, KVar, ArsenalUSA, PLO rebuild etc, sell it if you don't want it anymore. Besides, AR's are more fun. |
Sell it buy what you enjoy. The AR is typically a better all around weapon.

Granted, one is bright purple and belongs to "her", but hey....can't complain. My Khyber is probably my most-fired gun. Has paki tape on the PG now though for added clone-correctness. khyber by Armed Ferret, on Flickr |
