Just wanted to see if anyone over here has seen this. There's a thread over on AKfiles about it.
Pic was reportedly posted on Facebook. The poster says it is a "Kalashnikov 103." Ammo was Norma at the time of failure with approximately 1,000 rounds fired.  |

According to the files and the original post of Facebook, it was an ammo related failure.

how did the ammo fail? Case head separation? That could mean headspace walked out. Could also mean poorly produced ammo. If it were mine, I'd still have the headspace checked, unless the barrel pin sheared, Can't tell from the pic posted.

I bought a case of Norma 7.62x39 a year ago and find it to be underpowered compared to steel cases Russian ammo. Interesting if it was an ammo kaboom and not something else

wish there was more picture. Usually a kaboom will leave the casing in the chamber. I can't tell if it's in there or not.
