Just picked up a 106CR and it came with an optic mounted where the rear sight used to be. Decent setup, but I'd like to throw a standard rear sight back in. Did the 106's have a specific .223/5.56 rear sight, or did they just use a 5.45 rear sight? |

Not sure about the CR. But the F/FR's go out to 800 meters.

Pic of the rear sight from a SLR-106F I'm in the process of offloading.
I would be extremely surprised if they bothered coming up with a separate 5.56mm calibrated ladder just for the export market.  Attached FileEdited to add trajectory table. I assume the vertical axis is centimeters and the horizontal axis is meters. Only 2cm difference between 5.45mm and 5.56mm at ~110m.  Attached File |
