I picked up this nice little laminate stock Russian SKS today.
By the date stamp (backwards N) it looks to be a '57 It is one of the CDI Swan VT imported guns. It had a cheapo NC Star sling that I ditched. Have a real Russian one on order. Just checking to see if I had my head straight concerning the price I gave. What is this thing worth in the current market?  Attached File Attached File |

I can't help you on it's value, but it looks good! I have an identical twin to it, in the same great shape as yours, but I gave $100 for mine in the early 80's. I still drag it out of the safe occasionally and put a few rounds thru it. Good score! Enjoy!!

 . One of my favorite rifles too shoot. It may not be my first choice for war, home defense, game, or much of anything else, but I love shooting them. That's a nice one, I like the wood on that one a lot.
