I have an RH10 with a front sight/gas block combo so I can't really use most traditional muzzle devices that require the timing pin due to my setup. Mine currently has an A1 flash hider but I wanted to purchase a muzzle brake that would help a little hide the flash while keeping the muzzle rise down. If it can reduce recoil as well than that's always a plus. I haven't found much information on which muzzle device works with this setup and have been told is the main way it's secured is to torque the hell out of it.

Most combo devices don't hide flash well. You could use a bulgarian 4 piece flash hider, it hides flash and the weight would help keep the muzzle down.

The Griffin Armament AK Flash Comp combo device is available:

As is the Surefire AK Warcomp:

Will any of these devices be properly timed without the timing pin? I have a front sight/gas block combo but with a 16.5" barrel. My current A1 muzzle device is torqued down because there is no way to physically install and secure the timing pin due to the setup.

the 4 piece device is omni-directional, however the other two must be timed; the warcomp doesn't have a detent pin cutout. Seems like you need a threaded lock nut or shims, unless you want to silver solder it in place.
