I came across these while looking up some AK stuff and figured I'd post this since it is AK related. I might just be ordering a few for myself!

Ya Awesome, if you're a communist.

I'm old enough to remember the cold war, did duck and cover drills in grade school.

I will say that I have about a half dozen or so AK's and I shoot them often.

This. While I am not as old as Nick I have studied the Cold War and the threat that the Communists posed to the USA.  We almost came to a nuclear war, Thank God for Regan that we didn't. Myself as AK enthusiasts, like the design for a whole number of reasons, but owning the AK because it was the weapon of the USSR is not one of them.

Those are cute, OP.  Celebrating the demise of the USSR by adopting their principal firearm is a true joy.

While the commie symbols and year don't quite fit, an updated (Americanized) version would be cool.

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to how many "commie" rifles stand ready to defend the USA?

I imagine the 1949 makes reference to the year it was officially adopted by the soviet military & Warsaw pact countries even though it started production earlier.

I like the quiet message of this shirt's graphics way better than the OP's shirt.

Yes, I prefer this one.
