I’ve had this ammo for a long time. I bought it thinking I would eventually dabble in the platform, but never did. There’s 1000 rds of the Russian and 1600 rds of the Norinco. There’s also 81 loose rds of some Chinese with a 13 58 headstamp. What’s this old stuff worth? It’s all in perfect condition.

That’s good shit. Buy an AK And shoot it. Maybe an SKS.

Nothing special about any of it. It's just shooter grade ammunition that is already 30 years old or  more. And, there is a long shot that the rounds could be corrosive primed in spite of what the boxes state.

The "31 58" stuff is steel core and corrosive primed. It's an early date (1956 is the earliest Chinese 7.62x39mm) but very common. It's collector value is in the range of a couple of bucks per round.

I ended up with some similar stuff and am going to treat it as corrosive when I get around to shooting it:

Okay, thanks for the info. I‘ll sell the 31 58 separately, just in case someone wants it for its somewhat collectibility.

Steel core and corrosive primed. Just like the Chinese stuff, there was a ton of EG 7.62x39mm  imported so regular ball ammo like this is really not very collectable. It's very good quality ammunition, but it's also old.

Good stuff, I bought thousands of rounds of both when they were still dirt cheap before 2020. I'd keep it for SHTF since its very reliable ammo, way better than any modern polymer coated rd in my experience.

I have a full, sealed case of the EG stuff too.

It's great shooting ammo, although it has a very sooty smell and residue.
