I didn't even know this was a thing until a little while ago.

I've always wanted a Norinco SKS that takes AK mags. Think that was my first type of rifle that I ever shot besides a Ruger 10/22.

I picked one up a while back. Just a normal 16" barrel version. It's either a D or M model, I can't remember.

So I had to go work out of town a ways and stopped into a pawn shop. They had a Norinco SKS that took AK mags. It looked to be in good shape, but I thought the barrel was longer than the one I already had. I talked them down in price a bit and bought it.

Here it is next to my other one. I didn't even know the SKS 63 was a thing until after I bought it. Anyway, for those who don't know the 63 has a 20" chrome lined barrel.
