Over the years I have had a old school Wasr 10/63 had 26k plus rds put thru it.
Sold it for waay more than what I paid for it about 3 yrs ago.

Century Arms C39V2 ( POS IMO) sent down the road after 750rds and it's problems began to show. SMH....

Added some stuff as you can see and did a wood grain tru oil to the wood.
Shoots accurate with wolf polyformance 123gr hp and Barnual 123 gr hp.

AR is a FN patrol carbine MLOK with extras.
Cause the CR colts are bogus and actual LE,s are waaaaay over priced now for what they are.

I have the same M70 ZPZP and it's an awesome rifle.

I just got one. I'm going to refinish the wood on it before I shoot it.

@twistedcomrade what's your plan with that refinish?  Simply sand and refinish?  
I just received an M70 and am less than thrilled with the wood. Seems good, but I was hoping for red, closer to their pictures.  It's not maple lite, but it's not close to red.  Rough feeling as well.  I also see why folks replace the pistol grip.  I'll be doing the same.

Swifty, I got the light colored wood. I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to refinishing the furniture, I'm just going to try a few coats of clear finish. If it sucks, I'll remove it and try again.

Gotcha.  The furniture on mine is a grade above a fine wood pallet.  Could be a nice project.   Although the triangle furniture has caught my eye.  I should have bought the M70 without furniture!
