Fun Fact. There where a number of underfolders caught up in customs during either the 89 or 94 ban (not sure which at this point) which were sold with the underfolder intact and folded forward and with wooden thumbhole stock (they may have included the original wood pistol grip in the box and the thumbhole was only attached at the pistol grip as the guns had true underfolder no-tang receivers). I saw a number of them for sale at gun shows in the mid 90s. I believe they even retained the threaded muzzle. I wonder how many are still retain the thumbhole....
