I bought a wood set from Lee’s Grips and the upper half rotates very easily.

Looking for a semi permanent solution so Gorilla Glue is probably a bad idea.

Would a hi temp RTV work to bond wood to metal?

I've used aluminum foil before with good results. Does your have the spring?

Negative, I didn’t see any spring when I twisted the plastic handguard out.

It’s an M70AB2, is there supposed to be a spring?

Yes there is usually a cutout for a tension clip in the upper hg, even on Yugos. Sometimes you need it and sometimes not. Aftermarket furniture may not have the cutout but you can likely still make it work.

There's a spring under the upper handguard that holds tension and keeps it from rattling.

A lot of places have em in stock for cheap. Until you get one in some aluminum foil crammed in there works.

Yeah I’m definitely missing that spring.

I’m ordering one now, thanks!
