Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Milled AK receiver...

Does anyone know of a source for a milled AK receiver that will take stamped parts kits/ standard furniture?  I saw that Atlantic was building a rifle on such a receiver, but, at least at this juncture, they aren't selling the receiver by itself.  I'd really love to build a new rifle with new polish parts and, say, a boyd's stock set on a milled receiver.

All parts from an AKM kit will fit a milled receiver, with the exception of the butt-stock and lower hand-guard.
Barrel trunnion bore is the same as an AKM.
Stock will need to be milled-specific, but L/H can be modified to fit.

As to supplier, the best authentic milled receivers come from Tortort.com.
You have your choice of 80% or 100%.  Check them out.

Try to find an SLR100H Bulgarian receiver,  Pay the $600 for it, well worth it.
