The website said it reduces felt recoil and flash; so it is both a flash suppressor AND muzzle brake?

Good price point for what I'm sure is a solid product. Any comparisons done yet with the fsc47 or vortex in terms of flash reduction? I'm assuming better than the fsc47, as it's not considered a true flash hider.

I would be interested in this piece but I wouldn't know if I would be wasting $30 or not. I dont doubt it to be a good piece of gear, dont get me wrong. Im just saying that money could possibly go to a muzzle device that I have seen work on youtube like the Vortex or the FSC47. And if im going to be spending any money I want to know im getting the best possible piece for my budget. So if you guys could possibly do a test against some nameless devices like the 74 flashhider, the slant break and the birdcage, I could then gauge from that just how well this new piece works. I know about 5 people with aks who would love this if it was proven to work best.

I was planning to buy a FSC47 for my Mini Draco SBR project but for the pricepoint of your new flash hider (nearly 1/3 less $) I think I'll give it a shot first.
Thanks for bringing new products to the market MI.
I have one of your freefloat quadrails on my go-to AR and am completely satisfied with it.

Eta: not sure why you didn't post pics of it in your original post, but here go:

for the SLR models and SGL models you've got the AK-74 type device which is 24mm

Most of their milled models are 14mm which your current brake fits

found this online for comparison, top is the 24mm, bottom is the 14mm

Agreed, I would be interested on something for my Arsenal 74.....and thank you for making great products for AKs, seems most folks have forgotten AK shooters.

Decided to go ahead and pick one up. Just got here today. Well made, solid lil sucker, like most MI gear.

Hopefully will have a range report this weekend.

Does anyone make an adapter for the 24:1.5 rh  to allow the 14:1 lh parts?
With all the parts available for the 14:1 lh I'd like to be able to use them on my SGL w/24:1.5 rh threads.

I think slant brakes have been common for how simple they are, cheap and rather effective

http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/9544/flashhider.jpg

I rechecked after uploading this picture, the inside is NOT brown like the photo makes it look. Crappy cell phone camera flash vs the orange glow of the light in my trunk.

The flash reduction is ridiculous on this fella, especially vs what i recall with the slant brake. I didn't have my slant on hand to compare directly, but this brake works extremely well vs a non braked ak (duh).
I cant compare recoil pushback as my slant brake was fired with a rubber padded thumbhole stock and this was fired on the nonpadded folding tapco

well worth my money for how well it works, havent smashed a window with it yet but it makes my gun look cool as hell

On my 7.62 AK it  was an ok flash hider. Not much of a brake though.

I picked up one, a while back.  I absolutely love this product.  Since buying the first one, I have picked up another four.  These work great, and have a great price point.
