Anyone use the kvar AK gas tub springs to fix a very looose SKS gas tube?

Never used one of those on an SKS, but I have two AK47 gas tubes with that same kind of metal spring-clip. The gas tubes are good and tight on the AKs. My SKSs have pretty tight gas tubes anyway.
