I'm in lust.  No idea on the price but that is sweet.  How expensive are mags?

The IMI 25 round mags are $99-$125 from what I've seen.

CDNN has IMI 11 round mags for $19.  I bought 20 of them in anticipation of delivery.

Promag has 20 round mags converted from what look like M14 knock off's, around $30.  Pass.

I could learn to love 11 rounds mags in that.

One of my grail guns. One of those was the next gun I was going to buy when the '89 import ban hit.

I love mine but the mags are horrendously expensive and it just looks funny with those 11 round mags in it!

Enjoy it!

I bought a couple of the Promags, but haven't had a chance to try them yet.  They generally have good reviews.

I do have 3 of the original 25 rounders and one original converted 20 round M14 mag.  I think I have 3 of the 11 rounders.

You did very well. The rifle looks practically new.

Do the nite sights work? Most had to be replaced by now.

I ordered two of the Promags. If they work out, I'll get some more.

Question for anybody: Are the IMI 11 round mags really 11 rounds?  All of the ones I have are stamped "12". Does 12 mean something other than round count? I never noticed a like stamp on my IMI steel 5.56 mags.

Seller said no.   Still haven't received it yet. For whatever reason, the USPS is dragging ass delivering the MO's via priority.  Were supposed to be there yesterday.  Aren't.

I can't see myself spending $3000 on a gun.

However,  saying that, l sure wouldn't mind that sitting in my safe!

Congrats Primus!

Thanks.

It's not a gun!  It's a childhood dream!  I'm basically buying now the guns I wanted when I was a kid.

Which also explains the Python I recently bought.

I'd call that a good price, just barely more than I sold mine for......years ago.

Or maybe, I sold it too cheap?

Great score OP.

I would love to have one of those and a pile of mags but had to “settle” for an Ace. (Not that it is a bad thing)

So I got the Promags delivered.  I didn't shoot them, but I have some US milsurp 7.62x51 dummy rounds.  I loaded them up with 10 rounds and cycled them through.  They both fed fine, except for the last round, which didn't feed from the mag.

The bolt just cycled over top of the round in the mag.  Did this every time I loaded more than one round, or just loaded one round.

Interestingly, I did the same thing with a couple different of the IMI 11 round mags, they did the exact same thing.

Contrasted with the IMI 25 round mag, which fed all dummy rounds, including the last one.

I've often wondered why that particular scope mount rail sits so high and offset. I suppose its good to mount a light on it.

I have the very same one for my MR332.

Edit: MR332.

With the one on there, you can see/use the iron sights.  There's an open part through the bottom of the mount where the front sight is visible.

Nice , don't think about the price as high or low . It's is going to go up in value if you keep it stock and in top condition .
