I have a converted 5.45 Saiga, in military-correct AK74N guise with original plum furniture. It’s an excellent shooter, but I’m unhappy with the iron sights, as I didn’t get the front sight base perfectly straight when I installed it.

I’m considering a 1-4 optic or fixed low power optic to fill a “scout” type role that missing in my lineup, but wanted reports as to how they’ve performed for others.

I’m also open to suggestions.

Do it. They are accurate enough. Keep you mount as low as you can, Midwest Ind 30mm is as low as you can go.
