The green case mouth seal is the color code used by the Bulgarians for lead core projectiles. |

Any history on this ammunition? I’ve never seen Arsenal 7.62x39 ammo before…I am newer to the AK game, though.

I think there was some Bulgarian surplus years ago. From what I’ve seen elsewhere it’s either a 20 or 21 head stamp date. I assume it should be good ammo, Arsenal Bulgaria isn’t known to put out junk. I hope to see some reviews before too long, I’m looking to pick some up. |

My order is due to arrive Monday. Update, it came early. @HackSawTom on the packaging it said it was non corrosive. Then it comes sealed in plastic per 500 rounds.

I figured I would give GO a call to see if they would still honor the 10% code but the nice person on the phone told me the only coupon code they have active is for free shipping - “FREESHIP”. It was $367.14 shipped including taxes for me. Not terrible for Bulgarian stuff nowadays I dont think.

That looks like the "10 94" lead core stuff I had back in the day, ball powder included, only it was copper-clad steel cased. |

I have only shot 20 rounds of this ammo so far.
It is a bi-metal jacket, no surprises there. It reminds me of Romanian ammo. Maybe that’s from similar sealant colors. It seams like good ammo. I wouldn’t pay a premium for it. GO seam like decent folks |

I shot 15 rounds of this through a scoped 7.62x39 AR, which has proven itself fairly accurate (capable of 1 MOA with handloads using hood bullets).
25 round group of this GO ammo gave me 4 MOA. So pretty good for steel case FMJ. |

The Arsenal AK47 762X39 ammo is some of the best steel cased ammo currently on the market and defiantly worth checking out . This is made to military specs and hopefully continues to flow into the US.

Any updates on performance and quality? I just ordered a case but have not gotten it yet. PSA had it in stock and lowest price of all the x39 they had. It was 39 cents a round. Not great, not terrible.
Ammo Inc. was 44 cents Tula was 45 cents

I have found the ammo to be wonderful. Accurate, surefire and cleaner than many others. Mine is also non corrosive like it says. Totally happy with it.
