It does. I've got micro handguards on my ace sbr. The thing is that the micro is a very tight fit and I had to make a tool to spread the grip out and let it sit over night before I could put the grip on.

That lower is the one that comes with the rifle, he just removed the polymer pistol grip/lower and replaced it with the old style Galil grip/trigger guard and mag release. I'm doing the same with mine.
Apex has parts, maybe Botach too. Couldn't say where to get a micro handguard. |

That’s good to know about the micro Galil forearm. I was just looking at the 5.56 Galil Ace pistol today with the stabilizer brace.
