What’s the consensus on this little gun? Pros? Cons? How do you all like them for a shtf gun?

Also what stock options are there? I heard the bone steel stock will fit directly on the galil hinge which seems like a nice option.

The micro galil is an obsolete baby AK.  It is difficult to mount optics and accessories.  It is quite heavy for what it is intended to be carried for.

It is also reliable, accurate, and a great addition to any collection!

Micro Galil or Galil ACE pistol? ACE pistol is stupid easy to mount optics

Awesome little gun.
Great machining, runs smooth as glass. Takes dirt cheap, easy to find mags.
Has common, concentric muzzle threads.
I don't like the handguard they come with. Should've came with micro galil handguards instead of the cheese grater with the slide off plastic covers.

The bonesteel stock or brace will mount right on the existing hinge, along with the original galil stocks.

I love mine. Never a hiccup and looks like a space gun if you throw a magpul d60 in it.

Ordered a second D60 to use on my ACE and ACE alone for this exact reason.

Apex gun parts has em. I've got one arriving today.

They are up to par on quality, fit, and finish as my preban IMI Galil ARM. The addition of the top rail is nice and the factory added a polymer recoil buffer. You can easily swap out the arm brace for an original Galil stock. If you do your NFA sbr paperwork. The ACE stock knuckles are different but the pivot pin is the same, it’s pretty simple to do. The armbrace or stock seems a bit low due to the increased height of the receiver with the top rail. I replaced the factory side folder brace with a dissident arms end cap and m4 buffer tube and sba3 brace. If you do decide to NFA sbr it, the brace will slide off and you can put on any m4 type stock. The end cap raised the buffer tube height closer to the top rail. The Galil ACE is not an AR, IT IS HEAVY, comparatively, and it is built like a tank. However, if the world is ending IT WILL WORK.

It's nowhere near the flash of that Dead Air Pyro, but it's not zero either. An 8" barrel AR is still spitting out a ton of unburned powder.

Micro....ace is a whole different creature.  Very much like mine.

Bought mine in June 2017, its my favorite fun gun 100%. Its loud af but everyone loves it who shoots it. All the friends and family I let shoot it argue over who gets it if I die.

How bad does the handguard heat up after a few mag dumps???

I love mine.  It gets passed around the range and everybody seems to enjoy shooting it.  I'm running a suppressor, brace, and a KNS piston.
I prefer it to ARs.  That AK action.  It doesnt have those small parts like gas rings to wear out.
