For anyone who picked some of this up, and is curious how it performs.  

7.62x39mm, 46gr FMJ, Czech Training Round

Loved that stuff the first time it came in and was dirt cheap.

Interestingly, when I bump-fired this ammunition through an AK, the "cyclic rate"
was noticeably faster.

Unfortunately, it did not feed out of drum mags.

I still have a bunch of East German versions of this ammo.

Worked great though drums and I'm teaching the wife base of fire withe the RPK with it now.

Cleaning is hell though.

Great training ammo as it was designed to be.

I wouldn't want to get hit with it within 40 yards.

( It drops off speed really fast after about 30 yards)

The East German stuff was great as well, and like you mentioned ran well in drums.

I was surprised at how much energy it had a close range (went through 6" diameter trees) and that the EGs used it out to 400-500 meters according to the sight adjustment guide packed in each crate.
