Just a random thought I had today at work, with all the PKT kits floating around out there, and I believe (and could very well be wrong) that the firing solenoid mounts to the rear of the PKT receiver. Would it be feasibly possible to replace the firing solenoid with a pair of spade grips and a butterfly trigger? Just a random thought as I said.

Yes.
The proper designation for a PK series with spades is a PKB.
I don't know how the Ruskies did it, never actually seen a PKB in detail, but I'm going to just simply weld a set of spades from a SG43 or DSHK onto the solenoid housing of the PKT.

Possible , I am not sure how much work , We have a customer with a PKM . it is fun to shoot

Can anyone actually find any pictures of a PKB? Seems like the idea existed, but from the lack of pictures, you'd think they never made any.

T.E.C Tactical is making and selling semi auto conversion parts for the PKT. No spade grips, but a PKM buttstock conversion.
