When and why did the Bulgarian change the location of the Circle 10 mark from by the base plate to by the locking lug? All my black smooth 74's and waffle AKM's are base marked. Just curious. Thanks in advance.

The 5.56 Circle 10's have the ((10)) near the locking lug, 5.45 and 7.62 are towards the bottom.

On the upper right side of the mag about 1" below the rear locking lug. Also "cal. 5.56 X 45" on the opposite side (left).

This is for both my black and translucent plastic Bulgy mags.
