Does anyone know of a place in the RDU (North Carolina) area that threads AK barrels?  I'm looking to add a muzzle break...any help is most appreciated.

Thanks...

you could ask in the EE if anyone is willing to rent their tools and do it yourself.

Just a thought.

If your'e planning on threading that Mak90, make sure you have enough meat on the end of it to thread for a 14x1mm brake/flash hider. Check it with a good dial caliper and you must have .546 -.551 of "meat", IIRC. If not, you can opt for a 1/2x28.
These are pretty easy to do yourself.

Thanks for all the input.  Given all the research I've done, input from the AK Kommunity, I think I'm going to do it myself...just need to pick up a threading die @ CNC.
