whats the barrel length on it? and it was $999?

Yea, classic firearms had some last Friday for $999. They are normally like $1800.

In a way, I'm happy I missed the sale on the .308 as I'd now have a pair of ACEs and be more broke than I already am. .

Nice- but don't those have a rubber buffer that wears out fast or am I thinking of a different rifle?

The X39 galil does have some sort of plastic buffer in it. The 308 doesnt as far as I am tracking.

Edit: I just took it apart, and it has no buffer like the X39 gun has.

I ordered last Friday from Classic Firearms when they got their second batch and it got here yesterday. I have no idea what the blemish is, mine is flawless. Can’t wait to get it to the range.

I almost wonder if Galil needed to move some rifles but didn’t want to hurt the average price so they marked them Blem. Don’t really care.

Weatherby used to do that although they marked a 2 in a inconspicuous place...

I just ordered one of these rails for my Galil Ace and I have a question for you. I really don't like the MLOK as opposed to regular picatinny rails, but, this hand guard does have a better, more streamlined "look," does this RS Regulate MLOK handguard already have a place to attach a QD sling attachment or do I have to buy one to attach to the MLOK holes? I know that I will have to buy a "section" of picatinney rail to mount to the MLOK holes to be able to mount my Surefire M300 DF Scout light to the hand guard, but, I see that the RS hand guard has a round hole near the front and I'm wondering if this may be an attachment point hole for a QD sling attachment. I checked the RS website and it didn't address the issue of a QD attachment point on their hand guard. Thanks.
