I'm looking at doing a Krink style Polish Mini-Beryl project with multiple configurations.

-One Configuration pretty standard NATO/Poland configuration using the factory rail.

-Second Configuration = remove rail and swap top cover with a Top cover with rear sight - to look more traditional Krink

The Mini-Beryl is not hinged so top cover is standard and pops off on easy enough but doesn't look Krink.

I am thinking A'la SAM-7 style add a rear sight like a CETME or PPS43 rear sight to a top cover.

Curious if anyone has welded such on a top cover and any tricks?  Figure I'd try to get the sight base cut to fit over the top of it, drill hole from bottom from under/inside of cover plug weld, clean up welds - I don't think there is enough clearance for screws with the carrier.
