First, I have no interest in converting Weiger magazines to fit my Valmet M76 since I’d screw them up and they’re not as cheap as they were 15-20 years ago.

Anyway!!  I have 10 East German Weiger magazines that I would like to be professionally converted to fit my M76 rifle.  I reached out to Tomix(?) a couple of months back and they said they no longer provide that service.

With that said, is their a skilled AK gunsmith that can correctly modify these magazines to fit and function in my M76?

I’d like to stay away from Galil magazines, since prefer the shorter Weiger mags for bench shooting AND I want to stay away from Tapco Galil magazines as well.

Thanks for any leads!!!

convert 12rnd galil mags or maybe cut down a 35 to a 20....if you dont like the 35's.  the galil mag should already fit, just weld on the missing material to the front edge of the mag to feed the bullet to the chamber.

Tony Rumore from Tromix worked a bunch.  Mine are all flawless

Tony worked the East German Weiger mags (great mags) and the Bulgarian synthetics.  I have both
