As manufactured, the ALG Galil Trigger is NOT compatible with the 5.56 ACE - for a number of reasons, but mostly involving the bolt catch.  After spending a lot of time trialing/"erroring", I eventually was able to make it work.  Because it took me so [freaking] long (I'm not a Galil expert), I wanted to share the process so that others wouldn't have to endure the same difficulty that I did.  It's one of those things that after you do it once, you could do it again in 1/10th the time if you just knew how.  Is there anyone who is actually interested in this?  If so, I'll try to put together a quick video (lower your expectations, though).

Does the .308 still have the last round bolt hold open?

It does not.

I would def like to see the video. I just got a 308 and was tring to figure out what to do about the trigger.
