For those that suppress their AK, is the Dead Air Wolverine the best/only option? Would you recommend it?

I use my YHM Resonator K and Turbo K on 2 AK's with no issues.m

I set up my M92 to direct threat my Nomad 30 cal. Super gassy. I plan on installing an adjustable gas piston.

I've used a Saker 556 and Hybrid 46 on AKs with great success. Just make sure you check concentricity with something like the Saker. The Hybrid 46 is so large it's not going to hit anything.

I have a YHM resonator k on my m92 and a wolverine on my draco, happy with both.

I’m running a griffin recce 7 and explorr 300 on my AKs. No issues with anything except my m92, it’s grossly overgassed.

My Wolverine is awesome on my ZPAP

It is heavy, gassy, and gets dirty faster but that's pretty standard

Rex MG7K here on my AKP, using Griffin Plan A and adapter to 5/8x24. No issues with the KNS piston, super gassy otherwise obviously.

AAC 762SDN6 and 762SD. Converted to bravo threads and using KEYMO mounts. A KNS adjustable gas piston is a must.

I have a Sandman-S and a Wolverine I use on different AKs — both are great.

I forgot to mention I use Griffin adapters and direct thread the cans onto the adapter.

I run a Hybrid and a can I made on AKs. I use Dead Air KeyMount. Works great.

Interesting variety of cans.

For those suppressing their ZPAP92, are you guys using the KNS adjustable piston? Doing my research, there are people reporting problems with it.

This person recommended NOT installing one.

Thoughts?

Dude the recoil and ejection had to be horrendous right?! How many rounds did that take?

Recoil wasn't bad at all, it was ejecting cases to the next city over
Only fired about 150ish rounds till I noticed. I was planning to form 1 and have a fixed stock trunnion installed at some point anyways.

Edit to add the draco and wolverine sounded real good together

I have one on a Draco and it tamed the recoil. Casings only drop about 5 ft away and not into the next zip code!

The guy complaining about the piston is probably having some other issues. Too many people running them.

Happy with my resonator, Yhm also has muzzle devices in akm threads, so it can still swap between other guns.

I've used my Hybrid on my M92, PSA GF5 47, and Tantal. Tantal took some effort, had to get the barrel trimmed down to 16.1" to allow the Lantac ASR brake thread all the way down.

I have a KNS piston installed in my ZPAP 92 and shoot it suppressed almost exclusively. No problems at all. Suppressor is Dead Air Nomad. ETA, I've only shot a few subs through it. We mainly shoot full power loads. I have about a dozen boxes of Brown Bear subs but have stopped shooting them after reading they keyhole in some guns. I need to test them some more before I trust them with a suppressor
