Anyone shoot any yet? It says non corrosive, but I have my doubts.

Some of the early Romanian imports were corrosive but I think they got that straightened out.

Good to see more offerings. Is this from the Sadu ammo plant?

A lot of 7.62x39mm has been advertised as  "non corrosive", even as recently as a few years ago and was corrosive primed. It's fair to not trust an advertisement or box label although the more recent Romanian stuff seems to not have issues. The heavy green case mouth seal seen in the pic is typical of SADU/Romanian cartridges. If I were in the market for 7.62x39mm I'd give this ammunition a serious look, but I would test the primers just to be sure.

I still have 10 cases of Romanian 7.62x39 from 2009 in this same configuration that is corrosive, but only cost $199.00 back then (I thought it was insanely high) & was the only ammo available that year. In 2008, it was less than half that & plentiful, but my cash supply was low so I screwed myself out of cheap ammo. 2009 was a bad year to buy ammo!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but recall Century importing selling this as Red Army Standard ammo at some point?  I tried some years ago and it was decent.

I bought a tin from PSA, but will keep shooting my M67 until it runs out and I can't buy more.  IMO, M67 is best AK food.

I remember back in 2009 when Knob Creek had very little ammo due to the election the year before, I was panicking due to driving all the way to North Kentucky from Florida to get ammo to find none. This was in the Spring as back in October, there was tons of ammo for fair prices & guys were loading dually truck to the bumper stops with cases upon cases of ammo.

After leaving the range & heading home on a Sunday morning; a converted gas station was about 100 miles from the Creek & it was loaded with stacks & stacks of crates of imported ammo. I spent a lot of money & put the little rental car's axels on the bumpers, but went home with ammo. There were tins of Romy 762x39mm ammo for $199.00 & I knew that they were taking advantage of anyone who walked thru the door, but still bought what I could with the money I brought.

Those tins of ammo are still in the ammo fort, but the price on them doesn't look so bad compared to todays prices. Yes, they are probably corrosive, but they go bang if needed. They are mixed in with Russian 762x54r & 545x39mm that also came home on that trip. Some of the 545 is Polish & Bulgarian.

The ammo is non corrosive.  When they started bringing in Romanian ammo in the late nineties some corrosive came in first.  It had a red primer sealant.  the green primer is non corrosive.  It used to cost less the 100.00 a tin back lthen!
